Our program takes a proactive approach to stopping this brutal and barbaric activity by working on the ground level with children and adolescents who are at-risk of or already involved in dog fighting. Our members work in schools and juvenile detention centers to teach kids that dog fighting is not cool, is for losers and involvement in the illegal activity is not a sign of strength, power or greatness.

Most of the youth that we work with have never trained their dogs for anything but fighting, so they show up to our training classes with no collar or leash...their dogs are on big chains. The first thing we do is take the dogs off the chain and provide them with new collars, leashes, Kong toys and a bed. Help us be able provide these kids with the tools necessary for them to become responsible dog owners.

- CALL 911 IF YOU SEE DOG FIGHTING IN PROGRESS!
- IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF A DOG FIGHTING OPERATION IN YOUR COMMUNITY - CONTACT LAW ENFORCEMENT!
- DOG FIGHTING IS A CRIME SO TAKE ACTION TO MAKE SURE YOUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY RESPONDS TO THIS CRIME!
- Hold a fundraiser for Knock Out Dog Fighting so we can continue to expand our youth intervention program around the country to prevent more dogs from suffering untold horrors at the hands of dog fighters.
- Volunteer with Knock Out Dog Fighting. Do you do graphic design, write, etc,. Contact us with your location, skill, and availability to volunteer.
- Support legislation that encourages severe punishment of anyone involved in dog fighting.
- If you are a business owner, consider donating a gift certificate or product for our raffles and auctions. We accept items year round.
- Never offer a dog or cat as "free to a good home". Many bait animals used to train fighting dogs are obtained through "free to good home" advertisements.
- Post one of our videos on your website, blog, MySpace or Facebook profile to encourage others to join the fight.
- Urge your local radio and television station to run one of our Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to help raise awareness.
- Wear one of our shirts or hang one of our posters to raise awareness and start dialog about this issue. Drop some of our posters off at local schools, pet stores, MMA gyms and community centers.
- Show your support and add a Knock Out Dog Fighting banner or link on your website or blog.
- Insist that dogs seized in dog fighting raids/bust are not automatically euthanized. Urge officials to give them a chance to be temperament tested and rehomed.
